Dr. Bert Ledell was born and raised on a farm just north of McPherson. He went to K-State college of Veterinary Medicine where he received both his undergraduate and veterinary degrees. Dr. Ledell is a USDA accredited veterinarian. He is a member of both the American Veterinary Medical Association and Kansas Veterinary Medical Association. He practiced in Illinois for 6 years before returning to Kansas. He has owned McPherson Veterinary Clinic since 1982. His special interests include feline medicine, radiology, internal medicine, and herd health managment.
Dr. Paul Prose received his undergraduate degree from McPherson College. He went to The Ohio State University College to receive his doctorate in veterinary medicine. He lived and practiced in Pueblo, CO before returning to McPherson and joining our staff. In addition to being licensed to practice veterinary medicine in Kansas, he is also accredited by the USDA. He is a member of both the American Veterinary Medical Association and American Association of Bovine Practitioners. His special interests include companion animalmedicine, stem cell therapy, dentistry, and dermatology. Dr. Prose also enjoys working as an equine and bovine practitioner.
